We felt like welcomed guests in a cozy country home at Grotto Flora. The staff treated us like old friends, and the little dining room, with its lace tablecloths and vintage plates, made the meal feel intimate and rustic. Everything came family style for our group of five. The indoor hearth grilled meats beautifully, especially the pork ribs and house sausage, and we loved the creamy mushroom risotto alongside them. Save room for the house zabaione, it was silky, boozy, and dreamy. You can taste the care and tradition in the food. One of our favorite meals, so come hungry!

The Goloso was just what we needed after a weekend full of sport, especially the saffron and mushroom risotto with those finger-licking ribs. The tiramisu was a great finish, and the quality was the best value we found all weekend. Dinner at Grotto Flora was the highlight of our trip to Lugano, with a family atmosphere from the moment we walked in and genuinely friendly service. We'll definitely come back next time we're near Lugano.

After a tiring day on our bikes, we arrived late and were met with such warm hospitality. We stayed and had dinner here last night, and everything was wonderful. The food and drinks were excellent, and the service made us feel at home. I'd highly recommend it.

The staff were so welcoming that I felt at home, and the interior design really impressed me. It's a lovely, cozy family-run hotel, easily deserving five stars from anyone who stays. For me, it's truly the number one place to stay in Lugano.

Our host was a big help with local information, and the restaurant is a lovely spot to relax over an excellent meal. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good too, a great way to start the day. We had an amazing stay at Grotto Flora!
