The apartment we rented was older, but okay. The elevator, though, had already been broken before we arrived, and building management had no plan to fix it for at least four more weeks because a part was expensive. The rental agency gave us no warning, offered no alternative, and didn’t apologize. Carrying luggage up four floors every time was unacceptable. Our daughter broke her hand during the stay, and it made me think how much worse it would be for someone with a knee or leg problem who had nowhere else to sleep. This was a complete failure by building management. An expensive missing part doesn’t excuse failing to have a proper service agreement for an elevator in a large, tall building with only one lift.

The location is spectacular, and the apartment I rented was really nice, with great balconies. The building interior does feel a bit dated.

It’s about a ten-minute walk to the train station, and there’s a nice view with parking out front. The building is older but well maintained. The apartment was also a little old, though clean and perfectly usable. There’s an indoor pool, but it was cold, unsupervised, and somewhat dated. The sauna costs extra. Common rooms were okay, and the pool table worked. The foosball table was broken but still took coins, so it needs replacing.

The view is magnificent and there’s a parking space. Such a shame there’s no sauna or swimming pool.
