Sunstar Hotel Davos

The Wi-Fi was the one real problem. I couldn't FaceTime or make WhatsApp calls, and after getting frustrated trying to finish some business work, I ended up taking it to a restaurant with decent Wi-Fi. Apart from that, the hotel was great. The room had a desk, a sitting area, a capsule coffee maker and a mini fridge. There’s a ski rental shop in the hotel with discounted prices for guests, plus ski storage and a shuttle to the lifts every 30 minutes. Downstairs, there’s a large pool and an exercise room with machines and weights.

Our room had a balcony looking out over the valley, which made it especially relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the services were good. We also appreciated the secure bike storage. The hotel is right in the heart of Davos, so everything was easy to reach. After active days in the mountains, we enjoyed the tasty, varied food. We had a very pleasant stay at Mountain Plaza Hotel Davos and would recommend it to people visiting Davos for sports or relaxation.

The hotel was spotless throughout, and we found the rooms cozy. We really liked it after the renovation, and the location was convenient too.

Breakfast did the job, and we were lucky to find an affordable room. A week later, all the offers we saw were more expensive. We had a fantastic stay, with a great room and a spa we really enjoyed.
