Both dishes came quickly and tasted good. I had the Swiss potatoes, my partner had the Chicken cordon blu, and we each had a drink. It was a bit difficult to find at first.

We left after just a few bites of the fondue. The cheese tasted bitter, the alcohol was overpowering, and the only thing served with it was room-temperature bread that wasn’t good on its own. We love cheese, but this was badly prepared. When we told the grumpy man we were leaving, he didn’t seem to care. We left the pot behind, hoping the table that took it over enjoyed it. The dining room is dull and dated, tucked under apartments, and the place was hard to find. A hockey tournament meant a shortened menu, which hadn’t been mentioned when we booked by phone well in advance. That part was their choice, but the lack of meat-free options was a problem. The older man with glasses was rude and repeatedly coughed a wet cough into his hands before serving food to us and other diners. It felt completely unsanitary. Run away from this place.

We’d definitely recommend this restaurant. The owner served us and was very friendly, the food arrived quickly, and the portions were generous. The Swiss food tasted authentic and delicious, with reasonable prices.
