We were made to feel like family, and it was easy to settle in almost immediately. Breakfast in the owners kitchen came with plenty of local farm products to choose from. The house is tasteful without being overdone, and the whole stay felt just beautiful. Lake access is only a few minutes away, and the railway and bus station are very close. We loved it.

The bed squeaked whenever I moved, which kept waking me up. Aside from that, everything was clean and the stay was good. Mr. Stiffler welcomed me warmly during my Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, showed me my room and the bathroom, and pointed out the kitchen where breakfast was served the next morning.

We stayed in both a room and an apartment, and found each spacious, practical, nicely decorated, and fitted with really comfortable beds. The host was very kind, and breakfast was excellent. It’s peaceful here, with meadows and cows nearby, yet the train station is just a five-minute walk away. There’s also a bus stop close to the house. The guest cards were a nice extra, with lots of discounts and free bus service to the station. A lovely, authentic stay.

The house itself is lovely, and our room had thoughtful decor. Our host was so kind and made us a wonderful breakfast. We were completely happy with our choice and would gladly look at staying here again next time we’re in Davos.
