Hard Rock Hotel Davos

We loved the atmosphere at the Hard Rock Hotel in Davos. The design felt distinctive, and the hotel had plenty to enjoy, including the option to get a guitar for the room. Our favorite amenity was the spa, where children are allowed until a certain time. Its central location also made it easy to reach both Parsenn and Jakobshorn. A couple of things could be better. The hotel felt like a maze, and we had to search around for Lift 'B', the only one serving the spa and ski locker area. Check-in was confusing too: two people asked me questions at once, while my wife was there but wasn’t included. After a 2,5-hour drive, that was annoying, though they sorted it out quickly. Erik made a big difference to our stay. He patiently and generously helped us find our room, carried some of our things, and was attentive and fun throughout. We’re very grateful, and I hope the hotel management hears how much we appreciated him. Thanks, Hard Rock Hotel - Davos, for helping make my milestone birthday weekend great!

We had a lovely stay for our 10 year anniversary. Our standard room was simple, but it was clean and very nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was great, though a bit pricey even by Swiss standards. I found the music played throughout the hotel a little odd. It might suit pop fans, but it didn’t really feel HardRock, or even rock, and most of the memorabilia was pop too.

Hard Rock canceled our reservation shortly before New Year’s, reportedly because of technical errors, and I’m really unhappy with the service. Since it was so close to the holiday, we couldn’t find anywhere else in Davos and had to stay at a much more expensive hotel. I’d strongly suggest booking a backup, because they aren’t reliable.

I mistakenly booked two nights and asked to change it to one, but hars rock refused to amend itm. They had the right to refuse, but it felt like pure greed. Many hotels will change a booking when the travel agent asks, and the ones that don’t because they’re greedy deserve to be called out. That’s why I gave one star.
