Hotel Casanna

The owners run the hotel themselves, and they're very nice, friendly, and professional. The people who book guests in are lovely too, and at dinner people chat with one another if you enjoy that, though they'll leave you alone if you prefer. The cleaning team was professional and helpful. We got a special offer for cross-country skiers, but the service was great and we had a nice stay regardless. It's very good value. The hotel is in the middle of Davos, five minutes from the cross-country centre and local spa, so they don't need a spa on site. A large grocery store is about a five-minute walk away. It's easy to reach from the train station by bus or a short taxi ride. The rooms are well equipped and modern, and the beds can be moved. They're on the firm side, which I love, and I finally slept well in a hotel. Breakfast is fresh and varied, and you can ask for eggs. Dinner is great too, with well-sized portions, thoughtfully put-together set menus, and flexibility for extra requests. You can book breakfast or half board, and both are sufficient. They're dog friendly as well. I can recommend it, and we'll book again when we're in Davos.

Dinner was great, even with my long list of allergies, and dogs are welcome too. The whole stay was really good, but the team were especially friendly and helpful.

The staff were very friendly, breakfast was decent, and I liked finding a fresh bottle of water in my room each evening. A good hotel at a reasonable price in Davos.

Pretty good! Most of the people working there can understand and speak English, and some can speak Dutch too. The food is good, though breakfast doesn't have many different options to choose from. The beds are really comfortable and the shower is good as well.
