The salad dressing is fantastic, and you can even order it to go. This family-run restaurant is uncomplicated and familiar, just what I sometimes want in the mountains. It's outside Davos, but worth the trip.

The food was fine, but the service left me unhappy, especially since we were polite and nice. We got three small pieces of bread with our soup starter, then just one more when we asked later. When we asked for a little butter, we were told there'd be an extra charge. With food and drinks already costing a lot, that felt cheap and unacceptable.

Getting a travel pass for local transport, including the gondolas to the mountaintops, was a real highlight. It came with a stay of at least a couple of nights. This local place has basic but clean rooms, good food, and really nice people running it. There's also a bus and train stop right out front.

We had lunch here as a family. The food was good and good value, and the place felt cozy. It's child-friendly too, with a kids' menu and a play corner. Everyone was very friendly.
