Every evening there was a lovely vegan meal ready for me, thanks to the cook. Breakfast had plenty of clearly marked choices too. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable.

The staff are great, as always. The room is pretty basic, and sound carries badly, so you hear other doors slam. Breakfast could use more variety. There wasn't any cucumber, unlike what you'd expect at other hostels in the same chain.

I loved the view over Davos at breakfast, and the spread was really well equipped 👍 The internet was excellent too, so working from here is easy. There are even rooms for storing and waxing skis, along with nice shared spaces and kind, helpful staff. It's in a beautiful city and the location is perfect. I was really impressed and would love to return ☀️☀️❄️❄️👌

Agnes was kind and professional both on the phone and at reception. The room was nicely furnished, though the toilet wasn't very clean even though I was staying alone. From the bus station, it's about a 15-minute walk uphill, which isn't very practical in the snow. Still, I'd recommend it.

Set on the sunny side of Davos Dorf, the Davos Youth Hostel, or Youthpalace, occupies a former sanatorium and looks out across the mountains. Swiss Youth Hostels runs this lively, communal place. It feels clean and practical while keeping things affordable and close to nature. Families, student groups, solo travelers, and people on a budget all seem to fit in here.
