Catrina Hostel

For two nights, the bar keeper was outside right under my balcony, shouting and smoking with some guests. I couldn't sleep or breathe. When I asked him to bring them inside because it was 1 AM, he said he would, but lied. It made for a bad and expensive weekend for my family.

Our summer stay at the Catrina Hotel lasted four nights, and it was really pleasant. The hotel was quieter with fewer guests, which made things even nicer. There was no noise from our room, and the views were stunning. Breakfast came with the room. The buffet was small, but the food and drinks were very good. We also mailed two postcards from there at 1,90 CHF each. The staff were kind and helpful despite a few language mix-ups. The power outlets in our room were rather small, so we asked reception for an adapter. They gave us one without any trouble, and it worked fine.

Lorena at reception was so helpful and accommodating, and gave me some great recommendations. My room looked brand new because it was so clean. The bed was very comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. A great stay.

A lovely view, plus an indoor pool and spa area. Great hotel.
