The nearby hiking trails are within walking distance, which was really convenient. Our rooms were cozy and comfortable, and Sonia was a super friendly, warm host. The chef and staff were just as great. The food was creative and absolutely delicious, with every dish made with care and flavor. Their thyme gin was outstanding, definitely worth trying!

We had such a lovely stay. Sonja and Sven are a dream team, warm and welcoming hosts who go out of their way to make you comfortable. The food was great, and you can taste the passion and skill. Sonja is a wizard with her guests too. Don’t look any further, go and have a fabulous time. And don’t miss those views!

The food comes with great wines, and the service really stood out. They were quick, tailored their help to us, and knew the ingredients and preparation behind every dish in detail. Top quality.

Sonia and Sven made us feel so welcome, and the food Sven made was outstanding. We enjoyed our stay so much that I’m tempted to drive a few hours just to eat there again.

The area is wonderful for hikes, and coming back to excellent food at the restaurant makes it even better. From booking through arrival and the whole stay, the host couple made us feel welcome. There’s a special, warm spirit to this place, and we’ll definitely return ❤️
