The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the location is amazing. Food was my one gripe: it felt a bit overpriced for what it was, though I get that the area is expensive to visit in general. You can hear sound travelling between rooms, especially if someone’s watching TV. I was there for work and didn’t need local activities, but might have struggled to find much to do unless you enjoy walking around. It’s a lovely place and I’d come back, just not when it’s full because of the noise between rooms.

The portions are almost generous, and the food was a really nice discovery. The menu has a great choice, mainly meat and fish. It’s a top spot with a lovely lake view, and the local staff are friendly. They even crack a joke now and then.

We sometimes eat at the restaurant, though we haven’t stayed at the hotel. It’s a nice Swiss restaurant with welcoming staff, good quality food, and a beautiful view. If it’s warm, I especially recommend sitting outside on the balcony. The lake and mountain views are amazing.
