Mark went out of his way to make our stay special, and the owners were fantastic. The room had lots of charm, with the building dating back to 1772. We slept comfortably, enjoyed a great breakfast, and had a fantastic view from the balcony.

The only drawback is the lack of a lift, though it is a historic building. Otherwise, the host was very friendly, the room was nice, and breakfast was fantastic. I especially liked a jelly-like jam that tasted of honey. The restaurant food was tasty, and I'll miss their rosti. I'd stay here again if I get the chance.

The rooms are spotless and a good size, in an old, typical Swiss-style lodge. Just be aware there’s no lift. The toilet and shower are separated from the main room by only a curtain, so privacy is limited. Tea and coffee-making facilities in the room would have been nice. The location is convenient, about a 15-minute ride from Lucerne central train station on bus No. 73.

The location was great and the breakfast was large and wonderful. Service went above and beyond, even helping us get to the train station and providing a converter when ours didn't work.

The owners at Landgasthof Rössli were so warm and welcoming that we felt right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, and the professional, attentive staff made sure our evening went perfectly. Probably one of the best restaurants I've visited in Switzerland. Highly recommended for a memorable meal and top-notch service.
