Good value for the price, and the staff were kind. We would have liked a lane divider in the pool for swimming. Around 5 pm, children were jumping in and swimming in every direction. For guests who prefer a quieter spa, I’d suggest going later, maybe between 7 and 9 pm.

This felt like a very tired old ski lodge, not the “spa” experience we expected from the advertisements. We booked a deluxe room with a lake view, but our view was only a small corner of the lake. The room had old, thin, flat carpet that felt more like felt. The bathroom was super tiny, with a smell they seemed to be masking with a reed diffuser, and quite a bit of mildew in the shower. It was the smallest bathroom I’d seen in Switzerland during our 18 days there. Dogs barked on the patio late into the evening, though that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. The church bells just below the hotel rang every 15 minutes all night long, so we barely slept. Sadly, we had booked two nights. The restaurant prices were crazy high, so we drove elsewhere to eat. Breakfast, on the other hand, was delicious and had lots of choices, and the staff were kind, welcoming, and friendly. Edited to add: a future remodel doesn’t help the situation now. We’ll never come back.

We stayed three nights with our child. Our room was small and had only side lamps, no ceiling light. The hotel is old, but the people were good: staff were really kind and helpful. The view was fantastic and the pool was good. Breakfast was okay, though there wasn’t much choice. Dinner was delicious but expensive.

A lovely, clean, modern, comfortable hotel, with lovely staff who kept everything running smoothly. The spa area was clean too. It’s a short distance from the motorway, which made it handy for a one-night stop.
