Cosy and well equipped, even though it's small. The location is beautiful, and there's a bus stop nearby.

The room was a little small, and without blinds we woke as soon as the sun came in. Still, the service was super friendly and made us feel welcome and comfortable, so a big thank you to the staff. The hotel is cosy, with cute traditional decor, in a really nice, quiet area. It's a 20-minute walk from the centre, but easy to walk since the route isn't uphill. The room had an amazing view, just like the pictures.

The views are magnificent, surrounded by nature, and there's a good restaurant nearby. The hotel is nice, but the bathroom is small, especially the shower for taller people. The owner was nice, though a little stiff. Breakfast was good: scrambled eggs were great, while the rest was passable. There's no air conditioning, so it gets a little hot in summer. By car it's 3-5 minutes from the centre and the cable car to Mount Titlis.

We came back to Engelberg after a few years and had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel again. I asked if my wife and I could have the same room as before because it meant a lot to me, and they kindly arranged it. Can't wait to return soon. Danke schön! On our earlier stay, we loved the wonderful mountain views, the very quiet location, and the friendly, helpful staff. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. We hope to visit Engelberg again soon.
