The breakfast was a highlight, with local charcuterie, cheese and yoghurt, and the staff were very nice. Hotel Crystal is well located in Engelberg. Our room was clean and pleasant, and the balcony looked out over the mountains.

We arrived late after a long day of travel, but Louise put us at ease and the kitchen stayed open so we could get something to eat. The risotto with asparagus, almonds and wild flowers was delightful. Thanks to the chef and kitchen team. Dinner on the second night was stunning too, this place has the best chefs! Fabienne had already helped me with walking plans, and the next morning she welcomed us and gave us everything we needed for a day of hiking up in the mountains and back to Engelberg. Our room was simple, clean and had what we needed. The mountain views changed beautifully with the light at dawn and dusk. Thank you to everyone we met at the hotel. We hope to come back someday.

I stayed here with my wife 13 years ago and still treasure the memories. We had a wonderful time, and I'd love to visit again.

The hotel was full when one more person joined our trip, but the staff contacted other hotels in town and found them a room at short notice for a good price. Amazing service.

Clean rooms and a tidy feel, and it's close to the station. The staff were helpful.
