I went with my family in the first week of June 2025, and our stay at Hahnenblick was truly delightful. The property is well maintained, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere is peaceful and inviting. The owner was especially warm and gracious. His personal attention and approachable manner made us feel welcome and left a lasting impression. Thank you for a memorable stay. I look forward to visiting again and would certainly recommend the hotel.

The restaurant is in a lovely spot, with Hahnen Mountain of Engelberg and the river across the street, and it's beautifully decorated. The staff are extremely friendly and the service was excellent, 10/10. The food was great, 9/10. I had Beef hacktätchli with special cream sauce. The flavours were good, though the beef was a bit tough. There's quality food, quite a few salads, and menu options that are vegetarian and fitness friendly. A fun extra: the back of each toilet cubicle has new jokes every time.

It's always a pleasure to eat there. There's great food and plenty of choice for everyone, from Swiss traditional dishes to homivore and vegan options. The staff are friendly, and the terrace has a wonderful view of the Hahn. Highly recommend if you're in Engelberg.

The meat was great, and it came with Rösti or fries. The vegetables were easy to forget, but the place was clean, the service polite, and I left with a good impression. Pretty much the same kind of experience you find around here in the mountains.
