Our family stayed on 16/08/2025 in a room with an attached bathroom, one double bed, and two bunk beds. It comfortably fit six people. There are common bathrooms too, and they were clean and never crowded. We'd been hesitant about shared baths for our first time, but it turned out to be a positive experience. The owner was very kind and let us store our luggage and leave our car at the hotel while we visited Titlis, which we really appreciated. Parking is ample, and access is easy, just off the main road. The location is excellent, close to the starting point for Mount Titlis and next to a beautiful lake. The views from the property are lovely. Breakfast was included and more than enough for us: cereals, eggs, fresh bread with salami, and coffee. The bread was freshly baked and delicious. There's also a restaurant and a vending machine with chocolates and drinks, which was convenient. We were very satisfied and would definitely come back!

We really enjoyed staying here. For skiing on the Titlis side, it's a great location, just a 7-minute walk to the lift. There's a restaurant in the neighboring building with dine-in for guests, a room to dry your equipment, delicious breakfast, and a parking space.

The mountain and lake views are astonishing, and the Titlis cable car is only a 10-minute walk away. Parking is free for customers, and breakfast is great for getting the day started. The place is clean, nicely furnished, and moderately priced. Staff were polite and helpful despite the language barrier, and did their best to assist, although it was sometimes hard to communicate even though I'm fluent in French and English. People in this part of Switzerland barely speak French or English, which makes even going shopping difficult. Some rooms don't have their own bath, shower, or toilet. Those rooms also seem to lack a mirror, so you have to wait for the shared bathroom to be free if you want to use one. I'd probably come back if an en-suite room were available.

The food and service were great, and we had a nice view of the lake from the window. The rooms were nice too, and the location is amazing, right next to Titlis Station. One downside: the menu and notices are all in Deutsch. They could have them in English.

There's scenic beauty all around, and the host was friendly. It's within walking distance of Engelberg station, with easy access to the Titlis Cable Car site. A must-try for families!
