Villa Hundert Boutique Montainscape

The set menu was delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared to a very high standard with plenty of flair. You can feel the cook’s and staff’s passion in the food, especially in the use of local ingredients. The team were friendly and knew their food well. Villa Hundert would be a great choice for a special occasion, and I highly recommend it.

The dinners were among the best meals I’ve ever had. Each course used local ingredients and was presented with creativity. The whole team made us feel welcome, and by the end we felt like part of the Villa Hundert family. Their service and attention to detail were unmatched. Villa Hundert is on a hillside with incredible views of Engelberg, lovely to take in with a glass of wine by the fire. Even though it feels remote up there, the bus connects it easily with town. My partner and I both agree it’s one of the best places we’ve stayed in Europe, and we’re planning another trip. If you like fine dining in a relaxed, sleek Scandinavian and Swiss setting, this is the place. Cheers to Christian, John, and the whole team for creating such a special space in the mountains.

The dinner was creative, made with local ingredients, and beautifully presented. It was exceptional and would warrant a Michelin star! The staff are super friendly, and they’ve added a lovely new steam sauna and relaxation area. Villa Hundert is truly unique.

Christian from the front-of-house team really stayed with us, and John delivered every night in the kitchen. The hospitality, food, and wine were all top notch. It feels like a hidden gem, though I wonder how much longer it’ll stay that way. I can’t stop telling friends about the place and am already plotting a return.
