Hotel Eggishorn

I especially love coming in late September, when the scenery is breathtaking and the first snow starts covering the landscape. It's such a good time to slow down and enjoy the changing seasons. This family-run hotel has a real sense of community. The staff make me feel like family, whether I'm having a meal or just relaxing in the cozy surroundings, and you can see how much care the family puts into the details. I'm warmly greeted on arrival and looked after throughout my stay. It's a place I love returning to, and I always find myself wanting to stay longer. If comfort, a personal touch, and a warm welcome are what you're after, I highly recommend it.

A very Swiss place, with plenty of space and a nice atmosphere. The service and quality are at a very good standard. It's easy to reach, even for people who aren't very mobile, and of course the panoramic view is the best part.

After a morning on the slopes, the food is just what you want, and the staff are always warm and welcoming. Nothing seems too much trouble, and the service and standards are impeccable. It's a beautiful hotel and an idyllic place for lunch, with unbeatable views from the bedrooms. A special spot in Fiesch for coffee, lunch, or a ski-in/ski-out room.

We ate at this restaurant for four days. The first day went well, with a nice guy serving us, but after that the chubby, blonde waitress was extremely rude. Her English seemed to stop at “Hello,” and the way she spoke to and looked at people needs to change. While we were talking to her, she turned to another woman and laughed with her in German, as if we couldn't understand anything. It made the experience very unpleasant, and I'd recommend letting her go if you want customers to come back. Also, don't order the spaghetti. There's barely any sauce and a whole pan of pasta.
