The staff were really kind and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The rooms were neat, though their design feels dated, which seems reflected in the price. Breakfast and parking, subject to availability, are included, and there’s another large public car park nearby if needed. The hotel is handy for the cable car, and guests can bring pets. The internet was fast enough for video calls. The reception, bar, lounge and restaurant have all been tastefully renovated. A nice base for exploring the nearby sights, and I’d recommend it.

We spent two nights here across two rooms. The breakfast was a pretty standard self-service spread, but both rooms felt very old and smelled musty, especially the one with carpet. The showerheads were broken in each room. On Saturday, loud music from somewhere nearby shook the walls and kept us up until 1 a.m.

After we left our son’s stuffed animal behind, the management kindly mailed it to us. The staff were friendly, and the hotel is in a fantastic spot. It’s cozy, with a steakhouse that has a fun atmosphere and tasty food. Breakfast was good too.

The food cooked over the open fire grill was delicious, and the beer and gin selection was right on point 👌🏼. The restaurant has been fully redone in a modern industrial style. It’s a special place, with a friendly, welcoming owner and team, just a short walk from the eggishorn station.

We used this hotel both before and after the Ski Tour du Soleil, and it worked perfectly. It’s right across from the train station and the bus stop for Binn. The owner was warm and accommodating, the rooms were comfortable, and breakfast had lots of choices and tasted great. I highly recommend it.
