Hotel Grischuna AG

Anna made our overnight stay feel personal from the moment she welcomed us until she saw us off the next morning. She was around at dinner and breakfast too. At checkout, she even took the charge for my wife and one-year-old son off the bill because they unexpectedly couldn't make the trip, though we'd still used the five-person family room. I hadn't asked her to do that, and it was a very kind gesture. Our room was in the new addition, right at the top. It was brand new and in perfect condition. The hotel itself is a cozy little family-run place beside the station, which made it a favorite for me as a railfan. From the window we could see the tracks and the Swiss village below, glowing at night. We slept with the windows open and had a refreshing mid-May mountain breeze that wasn't too cold. We also ate dinner outside on the deck, watching the sun set over the mountains and valley. The food was delicious and the setting was lovely. I'd recommend the hotel to anyone, and especially to railfans.
