We tried the rib eye and flank steak, then finished with the chocolate mousse cake and pralines. Everything was fabulous. The menu has a great range of carefully chosen dishes, and the staff were so friendly and happy to make recommendations. Definitely worth a visit.

The food was average, which was a letdown at those prices. The CHF 75 veal cutlet would need to be exceptional, and the Lavaret at CHF 60 wasn't worth half that, just a simple pan fry, maybe a 5/10 at best. We didn't stay at the hotel, only ate at the restaurant. We'd expected a friendly local place for high-end local cuisine, based on the reviews, but the service felt strange. Other diners, especially people ordering wine, got plenty of attention from the maître d, and local visitors seemed to receive warm welcomes. We had to get up to call the waitress to order. No one checked on us again until the bill arrived, and we weren't offered drinks or dessert. They have a large dessert chalkboard that staff brought around to other tables as a bit of restaurant theatre. When we left, we had to dig around for our coats in the cloakroom, and no one at the front of house said goodbye or thanked us for coming. I think that's important. The whole experience was frustrating and didn't match the other reviews.

The pork belly and steak were absolutely to die for, and the portions were generous compared with other meals we had in the area. We arrived early in the evening without a reservation, but our server welcomed us warmly and courteously. He and his colleague took good care of us. Everything we ate here was good, and this was the best food we had in Flims. Exquisite cooking and impeccable service. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

The staff were super friendly and attentive, which made dinner feel even more special. We had tender beef, fresh salad, and crispy fries, all delicious, with breathtaking mountain views around us. A perfect evening.
