Hotel Tannenboden

We were only here for a few days during our trip through Switzerland, but it was a great experience. The lifts are close by, and the room had an amazing view. Staff were very helpful. If you're driving, the garage spaces are exceptionally large, so there's no need to worry about fitting a big SUV or maneuvering inside.

From the breakfast room, there's a beautiful view of the Alps, and the buffet has an excellent range of choices. The staff are super friendly and professional. The hotel is a bit far from the main lifts, but near the rental shop, and a free bus takes you to other lifts. Rooms are a little small but comfortable; there's no thermostat, so be ready to open a window. Parking is tight and depends on availability, though it's good to have it. No early check-in or late checkout, but you can leave your car with your belongings while skiing on arrival or departure day.

I liked the apartment: two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, and a large balcony. The hotel was clean and nice, with WiFi and a parking garage available, and the reception staff were friendly and cooperative. The restaurant staff, though, served us with an attitude. Breakfast had few choices and wasn't tasty. The hotel is in the mountains at about 1,400 meters, where services like supermarkets and restaurants are limited and close around 6 pm. I also liked the car cable connecting Tannenboden with Walensee lake 🥰

The breakfast had a great selection, and the hotel restaurant served delicious food. We also found the service really personal and friendly. Since it’s newly built, the rooms were clean and the showers were amazing. A great place to stay for skiing nearby.
