We brought our little dog along, and from the moment we arrived my husband and I felt at home. The staff were so kind, and the hotel sits in lovely surroundings. We'd happily return.

After a long, hot walk I wanted a cold drink, and the other hotel sent me to the Chalmandrin since they no longer had beer or iced coffee. I got a cold, tasty beer I'd never tried before, served quickly at one of the shaded garden tables. A language mix-up led to a second beer I hadn't wanted, but we both laughed about it and I wasn't charged.

Ftan Cumün bus stop is only a two-minute walk away, and my room had a fantastic balcony view of the mountains. I was here on business, so my stay was much too short to try everything the hotel offers. The place feels quaint and homey, and Manuela was welcoming and very helpful. I'd stay here again if I'm back in the area.

We had a peaceful, sunny room with mountain views, and the service was attentive and extremely friendly. The restaurant and sun terrace are lovely places to try Engadine cuisine.
