A great stop around Locarno. The restaurant sits beside Parc Botanico and has an exceptional lake view, which you can enjoy from its lovely terrace. Inside, the atmosphere is friendly, and both the service and food are great.

We were staying at Campagnola, just a short walk away, and had a very good dinner here. The Piccata Milanese was pork, with tender, nicely flattened meat and a great coating. The cep risotto was tasty and had just the right consistency. It's recommended for two or more, at 36 chf per person. The lake and views toward Ascona / Locarno are stunning. The restaurant's appearance had us expecting less, so dinner was a pleasant surprise. In high season, book ahead, as you can't just turn up.

The view is fantastic and the staff are very friendly. The food was good, if nothing special. It's good value and a solid choice, as long as you don't expect too much.

Lovely, friendly service and very good fish, with the best view in the area. You can rent a room here too. I'd like to come back!

The service was unfriendly and slow, and the food seemed to be expired frozen items. It felt like all the restaurant needed to run was three freezers and a microwave. Even the torta della nonna was frozen. Be careful about eating here.
