Hotel Restaurant Adler

The Cordon Bleu was really good. Service was just okay.

Dom Koch, the manager, came over to greet me personally. We had a quick chat after lunch, and he asked how everything had been. The food was excellent, prices were very reasonable, and the atmosphere was great. My wife and I had a lovely meal, with very friendly service from the manager. We’ll be back.

We came to Hotel-Restaurant Adler in Linthal while checking things out for future hiking tours. Our call beforehand was answered quickly and gave us useful information, and the staff were friendly and capable. The owner handled check-in in person, which made everything feel warm and efficient. The food was high quality and reasonably priced. Our room was clean, well equipped, and a comfortable size, especially by local standards. We had a very enjoyable stay and are thinking of returning on our next trip to this beautiful region. Many thanks to the whole team at Hotel-Restaurant Adler for the hospitality.

The extension I requested at 6 a.m. was sorted out within half an hour, smoothly and very courteously. Thanks again for that. I’d only booked two days at short notice, and the welcome at Hotel Adler was so warm. Check-in took about five minutes, and they offered me coffee right away. I didn’t get time to try the food, but after seeing the reviews I suspect I missed something good, and I’ll try it next time. I saw the negative reviews too, but my experience didn’t match them. A very large group arrived during my stay, and the owner helped carry their luggage into the hotel. I never found him unfriendly. The staff seemed to have a good, healthy working atmosphere, and even the cleaning staff were exceptionally kind and friendly. It was a wonderful stay, and I’d gladly return. I can highly recommend the hotel.
