There’s a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities for kids and adults, and the staff work hard to make the experience great for every age. The rooms are spacious, the service attentive, the food is great, and the scenic views are hard to beat. Marchenhotel Braunwald may be the best family holiday you could take. I can’t recommend it enough. It’s hard to imagine a better family vacation.

We came all the way from Australia, and I’m so grateful we found this magical place. Two days was nowhere near enough. As we checked in, several guests said they’d extended their stays because they couldn’t bear to leave. I understood immediately and wished we could change our flights and stay another week. Next time, we’ll come back in winter. The hotel brings together time in nature with the comfort of its rooms, spa, and dining, and I’ll remember that for a long time. I had tears in my eyes when I first stepped onto our balcony. The kids club is amazing, and your children won’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived, the service was beyond exceptional. Patric the owner greeted us personally, knew exactly who we were, made time to connect with our children, gave them a gift, and welcomed us so warmly. That kind of experience feels rare these days. Everyone should be proud of what they’ve created for families. This place feels like heaven on earth, and I didn’t want to leave. We’ll definitely be back to experience its magic in winter ❄️ 🇦🇺

The location is picturesque, with breathtaking views everywhere you look. Märchenhotel is the kind of place where parents can relax while having a great time with their kids. I don’t write reviews often, but our stay exceeded my expectations, so I had to say something. Everywhere we turned, from the breakfast buffet to the rooms, the property, and the kids club, there were creative little touches that made the hotel feel magical. The staff were so attentive, and the childcare attendants treated our children with real kindness. When asked what they’d miss most, one of ours said their teacher, Anna! They’ve thought of everything we might need, and we felt very well looked after. The hotel is the epitome of hospitality. Thanks to the Märchenhotel staff for making our stay so memorable and special.

We booked four rooms for our big group, two spacious family rooms with bunk areas for the kids and two doubles for the grandparents. Being able to shut the door to the children’s room in the evenings meant the adults could relax. The sleeping arrangements worked really well. Little details made it feel five-star: a kid-sized sink, games and coloring pages in the kids’ room, toddler robes and pool sandals, and even their names written on the bathroom mirror. The children had a special dinner with food they actually liked, followed by fun activities. Parents could join in or eat more quietly in the main dining room. Breakfast was a highlight too, especially the milk-dispensing cow and pancake machine. The food was incredible, and full board was well worth adding. Both breakfast and dinner were outstanding, and we liked being able to take a box of food for lunch. There was a full daily activity schedule to choose from, plus a kids’ club included in the stay where you could drop them off anytime. Our kids had the best time and are already asking when we can return. This hotel was a real gem for our group.
