I can’t say enough good things about this lovely hotel. The people were so kind, the welcome was friendly, and the management felt professional. I found it by chance after getting stuck in the village when the road closed because of flooding and a storm. They quickly found me a room and put my mind at ease. They charged me less than the rates and offered a late checkout. They really saved me. Huge thanks to the Desiree team 🥰🌹🙏 I’ll come again. Highly recommend!!!

We’re so grateful we came across this hotel at the last minute after flooding cancelled our trip to Zermatt. Our room had gorgeous mountain views, and there were plenty of nearby hiking trails and gondolas.

Maybe I just got unlucky, but my room had no fridge. The cable was there, so I guess the fridge had been taken out. The TV didn’t work either. The room itself was big and spacious, but with no fridge and a broken TV, I can’t give it a good review.

The fondue menu was excellent, and the starter and platter of local specialties were delicious. The staff were very, very friendly, including John, who served us. The price seemed in line with what you’d expect in this area.
