ibis Fribourg

The room’s dated design was the one drawback, though it was comfortable enough. The people working here made a strong impression on me. During my one-night business stay, I mentioned that I’m vegan, and Aline kindly checked the ingredients in all the breakfast items, noted what I could eat, and explained it to me. I hadn’t had that kind of effort from a hotel in an area I assume doesn’t often see guests with this dietary choice. When I had an issue in my room, Mimoun came to fix it right away. Later, when I went to read in the lobby, he offered me tea. Everyone I met was friendly, and these two especially stood out for their kindness and hospitality. They left me with a positive memory.

The breakfast was magnificent 😀. I had a small problem in my room, and it was sorted out immediately; I was also upgraded to a suite. The service was very professional, and I’m especially grateful to the manager, Maria, for her attention and for resolving the situation 🙏🌹💕. I loved it 💗. Thank you for everything, it was very good. I recommend it.

The rooms feel tired and really need updating, although the lobby and bar are nice. Service was good. It’s easy to reach Fribourg center by bus, just off the main highway, with parking underneath.

It’s quiet and relaxing, and the team are so friendly that I always feel welcome, almost like I’m at home. Based on my own experience, I’d definitely recommend this hotel. Big thanks to Fatima, Alice and Minoun. You’ve made me book here many times. Thank you!!!
