We had a lovely dinner at Alte Post, a charming, gemütlich place in a traditional Swiss setting. Our food was fresh and cooked just right: I had rahm schnitzel with Pommes, and my wife ordered Geschnetzeltes pork with rice and Salat. The Merlot was smooth and velvety, too. Our young waitress was so friendly and attentive, going out of her way to make the meal enjoyable. Alte Post won't disappoint if you're after a delicious dinner. Reservations are recommended. Two thumbs up!

The outside seating and scenery were great, and we enjoyed ourselves. There are parking spaces reserved for guests, and everything was super clean and well maintained. We arrived in the afternoon, were seated straight away, and got our menus quickly. Drinks came almost immediately, and the staff spoke English, French, and German. My one suggestion is to broaden the menu and offer more for people with different dietary preferences.

I tried the beef broth soup and Bratwurst with Rosti at this cozy restaurant near the Grindelwald First cable car station. The soup was warming and full of flavor, definitely a must-try. The sausage was good too, though the rosti was a little too oily for me.

We sat outside in lovely summer weather, in an amazing location, and parking was convenient. The bratwurst and creamed schnitzel were great, and service was pretty good. A couple of flies bothered us, as someone else had mentioned. It was a minor annoyance, not a big deal, but it did take away a little from the experience. Otherwise, five stars.

The chicken with cream sauce noodles were really tasty, though a bit salty. Our group could share them, which helped since I was torn between those and the fries. The fried pork had a strong smell I didn't like, and the pork chop was similar. My friend didn't finish it because the smell and taste were a bit overwhelming. We came across the place because it had parking, which is hard to find around here. It's on the main street, and the outdoor tables were crowded, so our group of eight sat inside. The indoor area felt stuffy. I'd have preferred outside, though the sun was very hot. There were only two service staff, and they did their best to look after us.
