Grindelwalderhof

Breakfast was better than I expected, with a generous spread in a large dining room. The selection was small but complete, and the price is so low compared with other places. The hotel is right on the main street, with a little square and bus stop at the entrance, which is very convenient. There's parking in the basement and behind the hotel for CHF 10 a day. Park first, then tell reception. The rear lot can be a bit tricky to find, but I'd recommend it. Our room was larger than expected and had a roomy balcony, though a big tree blocked half the mountain view. It was clean and tidy, and surprisingly quiet despite being beside the bus stop. The only real drawback was weak shower pressure. A great choice if you like somewhere lively and central.

The Eiger apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was quiet at night despite being on the main road, and the views were amazing. Staff were welcoming, and thanks to Julius for giving us free breakfast. We really enjoyed the breakfast. The location is excellent for getting around on foot, with the bus, train, and first walk nearby. There's a grocery store on the hotel's ground floor and a Coop about a five-minute walk away. We had a wonderful time in Grindelwald, and the hotel made our stay comfortable.

We had everything we needed in the room and facilities, and the hotel team gave fantastic service. It's centrally located, with everything you need in Grindelwald close by.

The room rate was almost half what we saw elsewhere in town, so it felt like great value. The hotel is right in the town centre, opposite the mini golf ground, with restaurants and shops an easy walk away. Our comfortable, well-equipped room faced the main road and had a mountain view. It wasn't too noisy, even during the day. Breakfast was buffet-style with a good range, and the front desk staff were friendly and very helpful.
