Hotel Caprice

We found the location very handy, just minutes from the train station, bus stops, Coop, and restaurants. The free guest pass also came in useful for discounted visits to places like Grindelwald First, Terminal, and Glacier Canyon. The hotel felt calm and relaxing, and we'd happily recommend it. Our four-night stay at Hotel Caprice Grindelwald included breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, and although breakfast was buffet-style, they made specialty coffees and hot food such as bacon and eggs on request. The room was clean and roomy, with a balcony and a beautiful view of Eiger. There was a kettle, coffee and tea, and bottled water was replenished daily. There wasn't a mini fridge, so we couldn't store food. We liked having a choice of pillows. My husband changed to a headache relief pillow and slept better. There's a gym and spa too, though we didn't use them this time.

Our renovated room was very quiet, and the balcony looked out at a stunning view of Eiger. Breakfast was tasty and had lots of choice. We stayed two nights, and the hosts and staff made us feel very welcome. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend it.

We came as a group of 12, and Alexander and Gabriela were great hosts. They arranged dinner reservations for us, which helped a lot, and gave us good suggestions for other places to visit. The hotel was clean and breakfast was good, too.

We spent five nights here and thought the price and service were a great match. The hotel sits a little above Grindelwald station, just a short walk away, so it's convenient while still feeling quiet. Our room was spacious and spotless, and breakfast was lovely, especially the sesame bread and cold cuts. The host's friendly cat came over to greet us and even played with us, which made the stay feel special.
