Hotel Gletscherblick

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the peaceful stay, easy public transport access, and breathtaking mountain views from the balcony. Breakfast choices were limited, but only a minor downside to an otherwise relaxing and memorable visit.

The view was lovely, and there was a tea table in the corridor where we could make tea and use the microwave at any time, day or night. Breakfast was generous and high quality, with a great selection of fruit. I especially enjoyed the kiwi and a large avocado. The woman and young man at the front desk were very sweet, and the hotel itself was beautiful and quiet.

During our Via Alpina hike, we stayed here for one night. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from town, tucked away from the noise. It's an older place, but worked well for what we needed. The room's view was incredible, easily the best hotel view of our trip. I'd recommend it if you want somewhere off the main street.

Breakfast had a nice selection, and the jams were amazing. Staff were kind and helpful when recommending hikes, and we appreciated the activities area and luggage storage in the basement. The rooms are spacious, with beautiful mountain views. The hotel is hours away from the main area, which makes it calm, but getting up from the train with luggage is quite a walk. Driving and parking at the hotel, or taking the bus, may be a better option. I just wish check-in started a bit earlier, and staff aren't there around the clock.
