The bed was comfortable and the modern interior design looked very nice, but poor service ruined our stay. We definitely wouldn’t return. Check-in took around 20 minutes, and we were helped by a girl from the restaurant team instead of reception staff. The room we were given felt like the worst in the hotel. In the morning it was noisy because the balcony faced the area where dirty laundry and other supplies were loaded and delivered. The room snacks had also already been opened by previous guests. There were very few guests at breakfast the next morning. We picked a sunny-side table near other guests, but the same German girl from restaurant service quickly told us we couldn’t sit there because it was supposedly set for lunch. It looked exactly like the other tables. With occupancy so low, I don’t think it should have been an issue. I’ve never experienced that kind of attitude before. Her service felt cold, unfriendly, and unwelcoming. After we ordered breakfast, we waited around 15 minutes without food. During that time, they brought us a bill for extras to pay. The first small dishes only arrived another 10 minutes later. The whole service felt unprofessional and unpleasant.

The location right on the promenade is perfect, and overall we had a very good experience. This boutique hotel feels warm and cozy, with a nice mix of comfort and luxury. The room had plenty of space for a couple, but there wasn’t proper ventilation and no exhaust fan.

The restaurant was amazing, and everything from the food and hospitality to the atmosphere and service went beyond what we expected. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were genuinely warm, friendly, always smiling, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Every detail felt just right. It was truly unforgettable, and I highly recommend it.

Such a lovely alpine-chic interior, with great service and a wonderful location. For the quality of the hotel and room, and where it is, the value was amazing. A top boutique hotel for a Gstaad getaway.
