Park Gstaad

Olmo Feudatari, Head Concierge, patiently answered our many questions since it was our first time in Switzerland. He made sure we had everything for a fantastic stay, and I really appreciated all his help and recommendations. Our room was kept perfectly each day, and Claudia, Monica, and Lia were friendly and attentive. The servers and other staff throughout Park were also amazing and very friendly. We ate at every restaurant, including the bar, and all the food was delicious. Our experience at Park Gstaad exceeded every expectation. Highly recommend!

The restaurants, verandas, spa, pool, and views through the windows of the superb rooms and upper floor lobbies were all great. Even the elevator was beautiful. It's a cohesive hotel with a distinctly Swiss Alps feel, paired with a cool, relaxing atmosphere. The staff were genuinely kind, and the service had authentic five-star quality throughout.

I did have a few minor issues with Chubut, their supposedly Argentine restaurant. They didn't have Argentine beef and didn't seem to know the finer points of cooking lamb and steak. The room was fine, with Alpine-Scandinavian decor and, depending on the category, a terrific mountain view. I found the public spaces very appealing, warmly furnished in an elegant mountain lodge style. Staff throughout the hotel were superb, balancing respect, warmth, initiative, and professionalism.

The bar had a good vibe and great cocktail choices, and the gym was good. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good overall, though not exceptional, and the latte macchiato was very good. Check-in was mediocre and below what I expected from a five-star hotel. The suite was nice in general but nothing special, and neither the forest nor mountain view impressed me. The spa was a big disappointment: it had a sauna and steam room, but didn't feel cozy or relaxing. The indoor pool was okay, but its area was too noisy to work as a proper relaxation space. The outdoor pool wasn't in use during the winter season.
