The Promenade location made getting around Gstaad really easy, and the rooms were kept spotless. I was there with my team for almost a month, and the place came to feel like home. We ate our way through nearly the whole menu, and the food was delicious. The restaurant staff made a big impression. Collin was warm and funny, Laura brought an Italian touch and always made us laugh, Catia greeted us at breakfast already knowing our usual orders, and Victor looked after lunch with impeccable service. At reception, Mara, Per, and Goska were patient and ready for our endless, sometimes unusual requests. They made each day easier with their kindness and professionalism. It was a wonderful team. I’d happily stop in even just for dinner. Thanks, Posthotel team, hope to see you again soon!

The wine list is outstanding, and the food is creative and carefully put together. Service was flawless too. It’s the best restaurant I’ve ever been to, and I couldn’t find a thing to fault.

We stayed two nights over winter break and had a great time. The room was spacious, and the restaurant did a spot-on classic Swiss dish. Everyone working there was so friendly and helpful. We’d definitely stay here again.

We spent one night here with our two kids, aged 4 and 9. The service was very good throughout, from check-in through lunch and dinner, and the food was excellent. The restaurant seemed a little understaffed. Our room, 117, was directly above the kitchen and noisy in the bedroom until 22:30. The noise didn’t bother the room where the kids slept in the bunk beds.

The facilities were good, but the service was a catastrophe. We were never told about the Gstaad Card, which gives free access to public transport, so we ended up paying extra costs we could have avoided. Our booking included the city tax, but at check-in the staff insisted it didn’t. They accepted that it was covered after we showed our confirmation. Still, they took the credit card we had provided as a guarantee and charged the tax the next day, without telling us or waiting for checkout. It felt very unprofessional. In the end, they returned the charge.
