Ultima Hotel Gstaad

It felt intimate and peaceful, almost like being at home. The hotel itself is beautiful and modern, with large, spacious rooms, and the service was next level. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything. The food was outstanding, and I really appreciated that they took such care to offer gluten-free options for me. My partner was celebrating his birthday, and they surprised us with cake and balloons. Such a thoughtful gesture. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. We’ll definitely be back.

We came for a ski holiday and stayed in a stunning three-bedroom apartment-style chalet. The hotel is small, which made it feel even more homely. Eggli and Wispile, two ski lifts, are very close by. It’s about a 15 minute walk to central Gstaad, and the hotel offers complimentary taxi service to pretty much anywhere in Gstaad. We arrived a little early, before our room was ready, and the staff offered to set up a room service table and showed us around the hotel. They were extremely nice and accommodating. The room even had a caviar fridge, which struck me as a little weird but made it memorable. The Zuma pop up served delicious food. They did forget our birthday request, but it didn’t bother me at all. They made up for it with delightful chocolates from EarlyBeck, another thoughtful touch. One staff member was especially helpful with everything my family and I needed. I’ve unfortunately forgotten his name, but he was tall and brunette. Thank you very much.

The staff were the highlight of our stay, with amazing service and ambience. The rooms and facilities exceeded what I expected. Superb experience, definitely recommend it.

Zuma restaurant in the hotel is a great place to spend an evening, and the service and staff are top notch. By far the best hotel in Gstaad for me. It’s a top 5 star, and I’ll definitely come back. A winner!
