We had to rush our workout to make dinner at Dalet: we’d wanted a 20:00 reservation after our limited gym time, but were told the kitchen closes at 20:00. We moved it to 19:45, then learned orders had to be placed by 19:30. The cheese tower and salads were enjoyable, but the flammkuchen came cold. We’d booked a weekend with friends mainly for the gym and spa, but the gym was fully booked for a yoga retreat all weekend, with only limited access at certain hours. The hotel didn’t tell us when we reserved; we found out just one day before arrival. When we asked to cancel because of the restrictions, they said we’d still be charged for the full stay. That felt unfair when the gym was a main reason we chose the hotel. With the poor communication and service, I can’t justify the nightly price. If you plan to use the gym, I highly recommend checking availability before booking.

The rooms are cosy, with typical alpine charm, and the restaurant has great food and service. There’s free wifi, indoor and outdoor restaurant seating, plus a green grassy area with sun chairs and table tennis. The hotel’s setting is very stunning, between rocky mountains and a green plateau. The view is breathtaking.

We came for lunch and had tasty food, with welcoming, helpful staff and beautiful scenery. There’s a menu dish with a small portion of all the local specialities, a good way to experience Graubünden.
