Meisser Romantica

We especially liked the breakfast room, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Part of the Meisser Hotel is in a charming traditional Engadine building, in the heart of the picturesque old village. It’s an easy walk to the main Meisser Hotel, where they serve a very good dinner. The rooms are mostly small, simple yet cozy, and furnished with Swiss pine, which gives them a certain charm and makes it feel like a place to be at home. The wellness area is small but beautifully designed, with a whirlpool, sauna, very small steam room, and a few loungers. We’d gladly come back.

Dinner meant going to another building, which wasn’t pleasant in the outside temperature. The food was good and the service very friendly, but terribly slow. We also weren’t entirely happy with the self-catering breakfast the next day. After some searching we found everything we needed, but having to cook our own scrambled eggs wasn’t really our idea of a good breakfast. We stayed at the Romantika, one of several hotel group locations scattered around town. Our room was in a historic building, very nice and clean, with a small spa area that was really quite tiny.

The team made us feel cared for from the start, and you can sense their genuine hospitality in the details. The Hotel Meisser Romantica is warm, romantic, and charming, with a feeling that you really want for nothing. It’s a stylish hotel with heart and quality, and the vacation felt like one of the highest standards. If you want a romantic getaway, this gem is hard to miss.
