The salads and the rest of the food are really good, and the prices are great for what you get. The place has a lovely hall and terrace. Thanks, we’ll gladly visit again when we’re nearby.

Our friends stayed here while vacationing in the canton of Thurgau a few years ago and recommended it. We understand why: the room was roomy, and the view over Lake Constance was fantastic. The traditional food was excellent too. We’ll definitely come back for another vacation.

The owner cooks, and the food is always top-notch. For around 40 francs, the all-you-can-eat buffet has different meats, fish, salads, vegetables, and desserts. We’re regulars for a reason, and they’re always open on weekends.

Breakfast was unlike any I’ve had before: they brought a personal buffet right to my table, and the scrambled eggs were fantastic. I didn’t have time to eat at the restaurant, but the first impression was very good. If the rest of the food is as good as those eggs, Hotel & Restaurant Bahnhof deserves every star I can give it. This is a small, lovely hotel with just four rooms. The bathroom had been newly renovated and was stylish, and there was free Wi-Fi and a complimentary bottle of water. Everything was spotless, and the towels, soap, and bedding smelled wonderful. You can tell the owner personally cares about guests’ comfort. Even though it’s beside the train station, I didn’t hear a single train. I could park my motorcycle in the courtyard, safely out of sight. Congratulations to Paul Laub and Priska Schnüriger.
