Gasthof zur Post

We felt very welcome from the moment the owner greeted us at our table. The chalet has a cozy atmosphere, and the meal was delicious with excellent service. What impressed me most was that the chef made gluten-free spätzle especially for my wife to meet her dietary needs. I’d gladly recommend the restaurant for a lovely meal in a charming setting.

The glacier views are gorgeous, and the service was great. We arrived 30 minutes early after missing lunch, but they kindly brought us drinks on the terrace while we waited for the chef. The kids had the playground to keep them busy. Once the food came, the big salad plate and raclette from both the regular and kids menus were delicious. I was eyeing the desserts at the next table, too. Between the food, playground, and WiFi, it was just right.

We’ve stayed at Gasthof Zur Post twice and had a fantastic time on both visits. The rooms are comfortable, especially the beds and big fluffy pillows, and the restaurant food is excellent. The owners are incredibly nice and make you feel welcome. Hasliberg Goldern is also handy for exploring, with Mürren, Interlachen, and other beautiful places within easy reach. The mountain views are amazing as well.
