Seehotel Pilatus is peaceful, scenic, and well suited to families. We’re an Indian family, and found it a lovely place to stay. The hotel is clean and beautiful, with excellent facilities, plenty of parking, and comfortable spaces to relax. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always willing to help, and it was very kid-friendly. The lake and mountain views are amazing. I’d suggest adding more vegetarian dishes to the menu. We’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Lucerne.

The wellness area was a highlight: we got lucky and had it all to ourselves, with three saunas, a jacuzzi, a nice pool, and one of the most stunning views we’ve ever seen. We stayed for a couple of nights with my partner, and the rooms were really nice, though a bit cold in winter. They offered us a small heater. Breakfast was all right, and the service was extremely kind. Special mention to Ihor, a professional, friendly waiter and a great guy who made the experience even better.

Our child loved every moment, and we’re already planning another trip in winter. One visit didn’t feel like enough. Seehotel Pilatus sits right by the lake, with breathtaking scenery and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. The staff were warm, helpful, and always smiling, and made us feel welcome. It was an unforgettable experience for our family.

We picked this hotel for the wellness area and its closeness to the lake. The service was great, especially the professional and friendly team in the evening. But the wellness facilities were disappointing and quite old. Day passes meant it was totally overcrowded, with queues for the sauna and only 10 longchairs for >70 people at peek. The pool was quite cold, and on Sunday the Sauna didn’t open until 4pm. We’d come for the wellness area, but the whole Sauna area was unusable that day, even after we asked reception if they could heat it up.

The lakefront setting is peaceful and inspiring, with direct access to the water for swimming and relaxing, plus breathtaking mountain and lake views from the room. I had an amazing stay at Seehotel Pilatus. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the staff were friendly and attentive, handling every request with genuine warmth. Breakfast offered lots of choice, including Swiss cheese, fresh sweets, and quality options for special diets. The restaurant meals were great too. One of the area's best for a waterfront stay. I’d definitely come back.
