The patio is a lovely spot for a meal outside on a nice day or evening, and the buffet breakfast is hearty. My bed was comfortable, the bathroom area was spacious, and there was plenty of closet space. The staff are friendly, and the location is convenient when visiting Herzogenbuchsee. Restaurants, shops, and the train station are all a 5-8 minute walk away. I felt safe, and there are lots of places to walk to within minutes of the hotel.

The drinks and desserts are good, and the restaurant has a pleasant space with a nice corner for kids. The food itself hasn't been very good, though. We've tried it a few times and weren't impressed with the quality. There's meant to be a baby changing table, but it's really just a flat drawer top with a mat under the stairs. I hit my head quite hard while changing my baby recently. A more suitable changing table would be much better.

This has become my local favorite, with good service in a historic setting. They serve a nice range of seasonal dishes that are interesting and tasty, and seem to be made with care. The wine list is good value, too. A great addition to our town!

The staff were quite nice and I enjoyed the food. It's a decent place, but I don't have much to praise and there isn't really anything I'd call a nitpick either. I work nearby, so I'll probably come back with coworkers. Around 3.5 stars for me.

The hotel sits by a little plaza at the end of the village, surrounded by beautiful architecture. It's really pretty, and everything was well cared for and very clean. We enjoyed both dinner and brunch there. Recommended 👏🏼
