We stayed for two days in April. The staff were friendly, and it’s a quiet place, so avoid making unnecessary noise. Be aware of the rules: no wetting the bathroom, avoid cooking, and don’t expect room service. A 200 CHF/ Euro deposit for safety was refunded immediately at checkout. If you return after 10 at night, you need to carry the lobby key to get into the hotel.

The location was nice, about a five-minute walk from the train and bus stops. The staff were very, very friendly. Thanks to Samra and Paula for their support during our stay.

The hotel itself was nice, with clean rooms, tasty food, and a convenient spot near the railway station. The rest of the team seemed decent, but one day staff member made the stay a bad experience. A particular woman at the front desk was rude and resentful throughout. Basic politeness was missing. Even asking for a cup brought sarcastic comments and visible resentment, and we were taken aback by how we were treated. It felt like guests were an inconvenience. The hotel is expensive and also charges a hefty deposit, so we expected basic courtesy. Good food and location can’t make up for disrespectful, unprofessional behavior. Management needs to train staff in hospitality basics. I hope they fix this, because otherwise the place isn’t worth the money or stress. Think twice before booking; you deserve better service for what you pay.

The accommodation was basic, as expected for a 3*, and the stay was pleasant. Staff were welcoming and very friendly. The server who made me great cappuccinos each morning deserves a special mention. Breakfast was okay, and the hotel is near the main shopping street and right next to a huge Migros, which was handy. The room got very hot at night, and noise carried easily through the walls. I’d recommend it as a budget option.
