We loved having the chalet's private garden on the mountain side, especially for the children to play in, and the view of the lake is spectacular. The chalet is newly renovated, clean, comfortable, and well appointed, with a great location in town. Maria, our host, was friendly and so helpful. Iseltwald feels like a quiet, well kept secret in a special part of Switzerland. It's tucked away but close to Interlaken, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, and other busy destinations, so it's easy to drive out for a visit and return to relax beside one of Switzerland's most beautiful lakes. We felt very lucky to find this town and chalet for our vacation.

The hosts are especially kind and warm people. Iseltwald is an amazing place to visit, and the Chalet is cool, comfortable, and has lovely views. It's a great place to stay with family.

We especially enjoyed the lovely seating area right by the lake, and the view from every window is beautiful. The house is in a prime location and has been lovingly renovated while keeping its charm. It's very well equipped and felt like a real feel-good home. The owners were friendly and accommodating from start to finish.

Iseltwald is a great base for day trips or a relaxed walk along Lake Brienz, and the beautiful lakeside house makes it easy to settle in. The hosts were very accommodating and went out of their way to give us plenty of ways to enjoy different activities. Maria-Pia's house was lovingly decorated, spotless, and comfortable for six adults. We didn't lack a thing, and we're already looking forward to visiting again.

The hostess was charming, friendly, and helpful. This is a wonderful place to stay, highly recommended in every respect. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, and tastefully furnished, with plenty of room. There's excellent infrastructure for storing bicycles, a small garden patio right by the lake, and everything else you might need.
