The accommodations are clean and comfortable, and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. KISC feels like home, and it’s the best place in the world to meet friends and make lifelong friendships. Highly recommended.

The view from the window is amazing, with mountains, the town, and forests in sight. There’s also a lovely river path beside the hotel. The staff run lots of activities for visiting Scouts, including sledging, skiing, and mountain safety. In the campfire area, Scouts can sing songs and perform, which makes it feel inclusive. The place is warm, welcoming, and family-friendly. I enjoyed the experience, even though it wasn’t the best place I’ve been. Still, it’s amazing if you get the chance to go, and I’d recommend it.

Brilliant staff, good food, and clean rooms. A simply amazing place to visit.

The food was the main problem for our group at the chalet. Lunch and dinner each had just one option, and the quality was pretty poor. Many of our young people ended up going into town most nights to buy pizza, which really drained their money. Anyone planning to eat at the chalet should take that into account. The facilities were good enough, and it’s a good scouting centre with lots to do, though most of the best activities are off-site, so it works well as a base.
