The rooms are simple but clean, with everything you need, so I have no complaints. The half-board menu is good, but you need to book it ahead. There's a well-equipped ski room and kids' room, and the hotel is near both a bus stop and the ski station. They provide fresh towels often and clean the rooms regularly.

There's a train station right beside this cozy hotel, and parking is available next to it. The location is handy for reaching hiking trails through the mountains and countryside in every direction. Staff are friendly, helpful, and happy to give advice. Breakfast is served as a buffet, and dinner is a tasty three-course meal. I definitely recommend it.

Madrisa Lodge is right by the Madrisa gondola station in Klosters Dorf, which makes getting onto the slopes very easy in winter. In summer, hiking, biking, and other alpine activities are close at hand too. It's a modern lodge with a functional layout and friendly feel, aimed at active travelers, families, and anyone who loves being outdoors.

A nice bonus was getting two complimentary train and bus tickets for exploring the nearby area. Service was excellent, and the bus and train station is right in front of the hotel. My room was spacious and clean, though it could use some renovation.

I booked mainly because the gondola at Madrisabahn was within walking distance. The room was clean, breakfast decent, and the location convenient. Just be aware that hotel parking costs extra. I'd recommend this place for a short stay, since the village itself is a bit shabby.
