That Tesla Supercharger nearby makes this a really convenient spot. My friend and I stopped in for lunch at the lovely hotel restaurant, though the tomato and Buffalo Mozzarella salad was a letdown. It felt ordinary for CHF 31, which is far too much. The burger was okay. I’d rate the atmosphere 4/5, food 3/5, service 4/5, and price 2/5.

For this region, it’s not a bad hotel, but the rooms don’t match the much nicer, more spacious hallways, at least on the ground floor. Despite the “Romantik hotel” label, my room had two small separate beds. The bathroom was big enough, though the 90x90 shower felt unsuitable for someone over 80 kg or 1.8 m. The walls are extremely thin, so you hear everything around you.

I popped in for a quick coffee while my car charged at the Tesla Superchargers right next door. The coffee and hot chocolate were amazing, and they gave us butter Gipfeli (croissants) on the house. Great service!

Whether you’re stopping during a journey or coming here to spend some time, it’s an enjoyable place. The restaurant serves excellent traditional food, and the service is superb.

The setting is wonderful for a wedding dinner, and the staff were really friendly. The food was very, very good, even if I wouldn’t call it the best ever.
