Our Christmas trip was meant to be a family holiday, but the two apartments we booked ended up in buildings at opposite ends of the resort. We explained why we needed them together and asked for help, but were told nothing could be done. The vacation didn’t work out as the family time we’d planned, and the many problems made the price feel far too high. After we left, we realized we’d forgotten a scarf. We called and described exactly where it was, but apparently nobody had found it. Very dubious. There were some good points: the apartments were very clean, and the staff we met were friendly. Pretty hiking trails are nearby and the slopes are right next to the resort. There isn’t much to do outside the resort, but there are several restaurants, bars, and a supermarket on site. A bus stop beside the resort serves a few small towns, and the roads and trails were cleared even during heavy snowfall. The parking garage was completely overcrowded, took ages to find a space, and cost a whopping €30 a day. Although we’d booked the same apartment type twice, one was much larger than the other. In ours, the sink and a light switch were broken, so we had to call maintenance several times. One bedroom had no window to look out of or air the room; in the other apartment, the bedrooms faced a building wall. The bathrooms had no windows, poor dim lighting, no proper doors, and no magnifying mirrors. We’d called ahead to ask whether each apartment had a vacuum because our dogs shed a lot. We were told they did, but this wasn’t true. Instead, we had to share with the resort’s cleaning staff, who were supposed to return it before and after shifts. That didn’t work, and we had to call every day to ask for it. Both vacuums we used were broken: one didn’t work at all, and the other had a loose cord that didn’t seem safe. Given the resort’s high prices, they should invest in working vacuums for the staff who use them every day. Most dogs were running around without leashes, and their owners didn’t seem to care what they were doing. It isn’t allowed at the resort, but staff didn’t appear to care or say anything. Access between the buildings was another hassle. You need the building’s card to enter, and only residents have one. Doorbells and intercoms are there for visitors, but they didn’t work properly. We had to call each other before visiting, since the Wi-Fi only worked inside the apartments.

There’s skiing for everyone, and you can really enjoy that feeling of freedom in Switzerland. The resort itself is fantastic, with beautiful, roomy apartments. You just go, you just go. Europe, go back to 2019 or move to Switzerland. Here you can enjoy what you’re missing, skiing.

It’s a modern resort in a great spot right beside the ski lifts. You’ll find shops, good restaurants, and takeaway choices right on site, along with ski and boot rentals.

Everything you need is right there, from shops and restaurants to the main cable car, just a three-minute walk away. The apartments are clean and well kept, and the service is friendly. It’s a great place to unwind and ski, and I’d highly recommend it.
